The Flying Eyes are always pushing forward to the borders of their creativity. The result is a spirited musical odyssey with rich characters, moods and places all embedded in their music. Since they formed in 2007, the group has played with many esteemed bands such as Witch, Spindrift, Ariel Pink and most recently with Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys at a SXSW 09’ party hosted by Live Music Capitol. The Flying Eyes have also created a home-grown festival, “Farm Fest”, in Manchester, Maryland. This past year they co-headlined the event with The Black Hollies, drawing over 400 people to see them perform under the stars. Armed with their new EP, “Winter” (2009), they will embark on their third national tour this summer from Baltimore to Seattle
and back again.
